This is the privacy policy for paume (paume.club), a tennis and pickleball venue directory and player matching service for Taipei. paume is operated in Taiwan.
What we collect
When you use paume, we collect:
- Email address when you join the waitlist (optional in some contexts, required to receive launch notifications)
- Name and district if you provide them when joining the waitlist (optional)
- Venue suggestions including any name, location, and notes you submit when suggesting a court
- Usage data automatically — pages you visit, your general location (country/region from IP), device type, and browser. This comes from Vercel Analytics and Microsoft Clarity.
We do not collect payment information. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
How we use it
- Email and name: to notify you about paume's launch in your area and (rarely) significant product updates
- District: to help us understand where paume's audience plays and prioritize venue coverage
- Venue suggestions: to research and add new venues to our directory; we may contact you if you've provided an email
- Usage data: to understand how people use paume and improve it
We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for purposes you wouldn't reasonably expect.
Where it's stored
We use:
- Supabase (database) — your data is stored on Supabase's servers
- Vercel (hosting and analytics) — basic visit data is processed by Vercel
- Microsoft Clarity (analytics) — anonymous session data is processed by Microsoft
Each of these services has its own privacy practices. We've chosen them because they handle data responsibly.
Your rights
You can:
- Request a copy of the data we have about you
- Correct any data that's wrong
- Delete your data (this will remove you from the waitlist)
- Withdraw consent at any time

We'll respond within 14 days.
Data retention
We keep your waitlist data until you ask us to delete it, or until we discontinue paume. Venue suggestions are kept indefinitely as part of the venue review process.
Updates
We may update this policy as paume evolves. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. Significant changes will be communicated via email if you've joined the waitlist.
